Dear Mr. Parent:

This is to confirm the understanding and agreement between the Company and the Union concerning a joint cooperative effort to research and obtain outside financial resources for various training initiatives.

The parties have appointed the Senior Union Training Coordinator and the Company’s Manager of Training to serve as an ad-hoc committee.  This committee will meet over the term of the current Agreement to determine the feasibility of utilizing resources from any number of state, federal or other sources, which can be used by the parties to fund a variety of training initiatives. 

Final determination of the utilization of any external resources will remain with the Company.
