LETTER 23 Joint Apprenticeship Program

Dear Mr. Parent: This is to confirm the understanding and agreement reached between the Company and the Union concerning the operation of a joint apprenticeship program. The Company and the Union agree apprenticeship programs are an important ingredient in a trained workforce. Accordingly, the responsibilities for the development of such programs will be assigned to the joint committee established in Letter 14, Technical Training One such new program will be implemented during 2005 and will include a class of at least ten (10) employees. Specific details concerning the new apprenticeship program will be presented to the Executive Steering Committee no later than July 1, 2005. The parties further agree that the Company will fund the program. Issues of significant magnitude associated with the joint apprenticeship will be brought to the attention of the Executive Steering Committee.
