 IAM District 26 was formed in 2002 with the merger of District 91and District 170 in order to better serve the union membership. District 26 represent Machinists Union members in Connecticut and Rhode Island. We are  Machinists, Production Workers, Tool-Makers, Submarine Builders, Health-Care Workers, and Professional Employees, at work places such as Electric Boat, Pratt and Whitney Aircraft, Stanley Works, Winchester, Standard Knapp, and Hamilton Sundstrand in Connecticut and Thurston Manufacturing, Mack Sales and Service, Swarowski Jewelry LTD., Leaonard Valve, Ryder Truck Rental, Armbrust Chain and Cranston Arc   in Rhode Island. District 26 is part of the Eastern Territory of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers.
